Statement by the ASP Presidency concerning the assignment of the OIOS fact-finding report on alleged misconduct by ICC Prosecutor to an external judicial expert Panel
The Presidency of the Assembly of States Parties, in consultation with the Bureau, confirms that the fact-finding investigative report into alleged misconduct by the Prosecutor conducted by the Office of Internal Oversight Services (OIOS), when received, will be assigned to an external Panel of judicial experts. This Panel will conduct an assessment under the legal framework of the Rome Statute, the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the Court and relevant administrative instruments, in assistance of the Bureau’s consideration of the appropriate next steps. The work of the Panel will be conducted on a confidential basis. The Panel will report to the Bureau via the President of the Assembly.
The Presidency of the Assembly is confident that the work of the Court in the interests of justice, under the leadership of its Presidency, the Registrar, and the Deputy Prosecutors, continues normally and without any interruptions.
The Presidency of the Assembly continues to call for due respect for the privacy and the rights of all parties concerned, as well as for the integrity of the ongoing process.
The Assembly of States Parties is the management oversight and legislative body of the International Criminal Court. It is comprised of representatives of States that have ratified or acceded to the Rome Statute. The Presidency of the Assembly is currently composed of H.E. La Presidencia de la Asamblea de los Estados Partes, en consulta con la Mesa, confirma que el informe de investigación sobre presunta conducta indebida del Fiscal, realizado por la Oficina de Servicios de Supervisión Interna (OIOS), será asignado, una vez recibido, a un Panel externo de expertos judiciales. Este Panel llevará a cabo una evaluación conforme al marco jurídico del Estatuto de Roma, el Reglamento de Procedimiento y Prueba de la Corte, y otros instrumentos administrativos pertinentes, con el fin de asistir a la Mesa en la consideración de los próximos pasos apropiados. El trabajo del Panel se realizará de manera confidencial. El Panel informará a la Mesa por conducto de la Presidenta de la Asamblea.
La Presidencia de la Asamblea confía en que el trabajo de la Corte en interés de la justicia continúa con normalidad y sin interrupciones, bajo el liderazgo de su Presidencia, el Secretario y los Fiscales Adjuntos.
La Presidencia de la Asamblea continúa haciendo un llamado al respeto debido de la privacidad y los derechos de todas las partes involucradas, así como a la integridad del proceso en curso.
La Asamblea de los Estados Partes es el principal órgano administrativo y legislativo de la CPI. عند استلامه، إلى فريق خارجي من الخب ا رء القضائيين. وستضطلع هذه اللجنة بتقييم التقرير بموجب
الإطار القانوني لنظام روما الأساسي، اولقواعد الإج ا رئية وقواعد الإثبات للمحكمة الجنائية الدولية،
والأدوات الإدارية ذات الصلة، وذلك دعمًا للنظر الذي يجريه المكتب في الخطوات التالية المناسبة.
وسيُنجز عمل اللجنة بسرية تامة. كما ست قدّم اللجنة تق ريرها إلى المكتب عن طريق رئيس جمعية الدول
الأط ا رف.
و تُعرب رئاسة الجمعية عن ثقتها في أنّ عمل المحكمة خدمةً لمصلحة العدالة، تحت قيادة رئيسها
والمسجّ ل ونواب المدعي العام، مستمرّ على نحو طبيعي ومن دون أي انقطاع.

تتألف من ممثلي الدول التي قامت بالتصديق على نظام روما الأساسي أو الانضمام إليه. وتتألف
