The Comoros Ratifies the Rome Statute
On 18 August 2006, the Comoros deposited its instrument of ratification of the Rome Statute. The Statute will enter into force for the Comoros on 1 November 2006.

Saint Kitts and Nevis accedes to the Rome Statute
On 22 August 2006, Saint Kitts and Nevis deposited its instrument of accession to the Rome Statute. The Statute will enter into force for Saint Kitts and Nevis on 1 November 2006.

As of 29 August 2006, 100 countries are States Parties to the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court.
