Many stop at the sight of the big screen showing images from the ICC’s courtroom in The Hague
A big screen mounted in Bégoua neighbourhood, in Bangui, Central African Republic, attracted more than 200 people stopping by to watch animations and videos portraying the work of the Court.
One after the other, videos in Sango and French pointed to the latest developments in the Yekatom & Ngaïssona, Said and Mokom cases.
After the screening, the ICC outreach team invited the audience to participate in a quiz about the Court.
Belgian Ambassador Eric Jacquemin and the political attaché of the Embassy of Belgium in Yaoundé (Cameroon) that covers CAR, Myriam Dulieu, also joined the screening in Bégoua, following a visit to the ICC country office in Bangui.
