High school students in Agboville, Côte d’Ivoire, show their knowledge about the ICC and the Rome Statute

Students from ten high schools in Agboville, Côte d’Ivoire, participated in the “Génie en herbe” contest and answered questions about the ICC and human rights. The contest was organised by the ICC country office in Abidjan in collaboration with local educational institutions Direction régionale de l’Éducation nationale et de l’Alphabétisation (DRENA) and Centre ESD.

The competition is a part of a broader campaign dedicated to raising awareness about the Court’s work and its founding treaty, the Rome Statute.

The trophy went to the team from Nakoi Institute, being the most versed in topics surrounding the ICC, international humanitarian law and general culture.
