Normally based in Bamako, the ICC outreach team travels to Timbuktu, to meet with the affected communities
Leaving from Bamako, the ICC Outreach team embarked on a one-week long mission, with the final destination in Timbuktu.
The team met with the community leaders and civil society.
“These sessions are useful because we can use the knowledge about the ICC in our conversations with local communities. They want to know about and understand the work of the Court”, one of the participants explained.
