The ICC Outreach team and journalists from Bamako discuss about the best ways to report on law-related topics
Thirty journalists from different corners of Mali arrived in Bamako to attend an information session about the work of the Court. Following a video presentation about the ICC and the ongoing Al Hassan trial, ICC staff spoke about the participation of victims in the Court cases.
Journalists shared their experiences in reporting about legal topics, and talked about best ways to present and relay information to the affected communities.
A part of the presentation covered the work of the Trust Fund for Victims and the reparations in the Al Mahdi case, topics of interest for the community of Timbuktu.
