The ICC teams meets with civil society and academia to discuss the Prosecutor’s request for arrest warrants in the Situation in Georgia
Just days after the ICC Prosecutor Karim A.A. Khan KC asked the Pre-Trial judges to issue arrest warrants for three suspects in the Situation in Georgia, the ICC country office in Tbilisi organized an information session for the civil society and academia.
ICC staff gave an overview of the Prosecutor’s request, spoke about further steps to be followed under the Court’s rules and regulations, and possible implications and outcomes.
