Judge Eduardo Ferrer Mac-Gregor - The Inter-American Court’s jurisprudence regarding enforced disappearances

Eduardo Ferrer Mac-Gregor is a judge at the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, which has its seat in Costa Rica. He holds an undergraduate law degree from the Autonomous University of Baja California and a PhD in Law from the University of Navarra, Spain. He has also authored 37 books and monographs and has written more than 100 chapters and forwards in other works. Judge Ferrer has served in several non-judicial capacities in the Supreme Court of Mexico, is a Member of the Academic and Editorial Committee of the Electoral Tribunal of the Mexican Federal Judicial Authority, and Executive Secretary of the Drafting Committee of the Ethics Code of the Mexican Federal Judiciary.
