Press conference of the Chief Prosecutor

The Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Mr. Luis Moreno-Ocampo, will convene a press conference to present an overview to the media on information received by the Office of the Prosecutor regarding potential situations under the jurisdiction of the Court. The press conference will be held the 16 July 2003 at 11 a.m. (venue to be announced).

In addition, photographers and television crews are invited to the ICC premises on 15 July from 9:30 to 11:00 hours. The process for storing and handling of the relevant correspondence received by the Chief Prosecutor will be explained.

The press conference will take place on the eve of the International Day of Justice which commemorates the adoption of the Statute of the ICC, five years ago.

At the latest on 14 July, media representatives should confirm attendance to the press conference by sending an email to [email protected]

In accordance with the Court’s security regulations, the ICC kindly invites the media to submit at the latest on 14 July the names of photographers and members of television crews that would like to attend the presentation of the 15 July. No admittance will be allowed without prior accreditation.
