High Representative/Vice-President Kaja Kallas visits the International Criminal Court

On 23 October 2026, Kaja Kallas, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, visited the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, The Netherlands. During her visit, Ms Kallas met with ICC President Tomoko Akane, ICC Deputy Prosecutor Nazhat Shameem Khan and ICC Registrar Osvaldo Zavala Giler. The visit provided an opportunity to exchange views on current challenges facing international justice and the continued support for the Court's mandate.
