Una convocatoria para Abogado/as de América Latina y el Caribe
La CPI hace un llamado a abogado/as litigantes de América Latina y el Caribe a unirse a las Listas de Abogados y de Asistentes jurídicos. A través de una serie de actividades coorganizadas con los colegios de abogados nacionales en varios países, la campaña “¡Únase a la Lista CPI!” tiene como objetivo aumentar la participación de abogado/as de la región. Comprometida con mejorar la representación geográfica y de género, la CPI dará prioridad a las solicitudes de abogado/as de América Latina y el Caribe, y en particular de mujeres, durante este período.
Las víctimas, los acusados y, bajo ciertas condiciones, los sospechosos tienen derecho a ser asistidos por un abogado/a independiente en los procedimientos ante la CPI. La Corte se compromete a proporcionar a estas personas un grupo de profesionales altamente calificados y diversos.
Esta iniciativa cuenta con el apoyo financiero de la Comisión Europea y se lleva a cabo con la colaboración de la Asociación Internacional de Abogados (IBA) y del Colegio de Abogados de la Corte Penal Internacional (ICCBA) y de colegios de abogados nacionales.

Postule a la Lista de Abogados o la Lista de Asistentes jurídicos de la CPI. Al brindar asistencia legal a las víctimas y los acusados, puede hacer una contribución significativa al avance de la justicia penal internacional. Ejercer ante la Corte es una experiencia enriquecedora. Además de desarrollar habilidades legales y experiencia profesional, tendrá la oportunidad de desarrollar una sólida carrera en derecho penal internacional y desarrollar conexiones profesionales en todo el mundo.

Join the ICC List of Counsel!
A call for Latin American and Caribbean lawyers
The ICC is calling on more lawyers from Latin America and the Caribbean to join the Lists of Counsel and Assistants to Counsel. Through various events with national bar associations in several countries, the campaign “Join the ICC List of Counsels!” aims to increasing the participation of lawyers from the region. Committed to improve the geographic and gender representation, the ICC will prioritize applications from Latin American and Caribbean lawyers, and in particular women during this period.
Victims, accused persons and under certain conditions, suspects have the right to be assisted by Counsel in ICC proceedings. The ICC is committed to providing these individuals with a pool of highly qualified and diverse Counsel.
This initiative has the financial support of the European Commission and is undertaken with the collaboration of the International Bar Association, the International Criminal Court Bar Association (ICCBA) and national bar associations.
