The ICC may therefore exercise its jurisdiction over Rome Statute crimes committed on the territory of Guinea or by its nationals from 1 October 2003 onwards.</p><p style="text-align:justify;"><strong>Procedural history and focus of the preliminary examination</strong></p><p>The preliminary examination of the situation in Guinea was announced on 14 October 2009. The OTP has received numerous communications under article 15 of the Rome Statute in relation to the situation in Guinea. The preliminary examination focusses on alleged Rome Statute crimes committed in the context of the 28 September 2009 events at the Conakry stadium, including the <strong>crimes against humanity</strong> of murder; imprisonment or other severe deprivation of liberty; torture; rape and other forms of sexual violence; persecution; and enforced disappearances. The preliminary examination also focusses on the existence and genuineness of national proceedings in relation to these crimes.</p><div class="ExternalClass8C4FDB49CD844CC5850F1BE3AECE2281"><p></p></div><p><strong>Enjeu : crimes contre l'humanité prétendument commis dans le cadre du « massacre du 28 septembre » 2009 au stade de Conakry en Guinée</strong></p><p style="text-align:justify;"><em>Phase 3 : Recevabilité</em></p><strong>Compétence – Situation générale</strong><p>La Guinée a déposé son instrument d'adhésion au Statut de Rome le 14 juillet 2003. La CPI a donc compétence à l'égard des crimes visés par le Statut de Rome commis sur le territoire de la Guinée ou par ses ressortissants depuis le 1er octobre 2003.</p><p style="text-align:justify;"><strong>Historique de la procédure et enjeu de l'examen préliminaire</strong></p><p>L'examen préliminaire de la situation en Guinée a été <span lang="FR" style="text-decoration:underline;">annoncé</span> le 14 octobre 2009. Le Bureau a reçu de nombreuses communications, au titre de l'article 15 du Statut de Rome, relatives à la situation en Guinée. L'examen préliminaire porte essentiellement sur les crimes visés par le Statut de Rome commis dans le cadre des violences connues sous le nom de « massacre du 28 septembre » ayant eu lieu au stade de Conakry en 2009, notamment les <strong>crimes contre l'humanité</strong> suivants : meurtre, emprisonnement ou autre forme de privation grave de liberté, torture, viol et autres formes de violence sexuelle, persécution, et disparitions forcées.
