The ICC team visits Tkviavi, a Georgian village near the Administrative Boundary Line (ABL)
“We want a memorial in our village: younger generations should know what happened in the 2008 conflict in Georgia. Without a memorial, how would they remember when we are gone?” These were the words of an elderly woman while speaking to an ICC representative in Tkviavi village near the Administrative Boundary Line (ABL).
The ICC outreach team in Georgia regularly visits settlements for internally displaced people and talks to the communities affected by the 2008 conflict in Georgia.
