Hannah Tonkin: "State Control over Private Military and Security Companies in Armed Conflict"

Dr Hannah Tonkin completed a masters and doctorate in international law at the University of Oxford on a Rhodes Scholarship, after having previously completed degrees in science and law at the University of Adelaide. She has worked as a lawyer at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia and taught international law at the University of Oxford. She is now a lawyer at the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda. Her presentation will be based on her book which was recently published by Cambridge University Press.
