Under Prosecutor Karim A.A. Khan KC, the OTP has published its Strategic Plan 2023-2025, and the following policies:

Additionally, you can find here the Guidelines for civil society organisations for documenting international crimes and human rights violations for accountability purposes (2022), published in partnership with Eurojust.

Previously, the OTP published a report on the first three years of its work, the Three Year Report, (September 2006); the Report on Prosecutorial Strategy (2006), and the Prosecutorial Strategy (2009-2012), as well as Strategic Plans (2012-2015), (2016-2018) and (2019-2021).

The Office also published various policy papers – on general policy issues, on The Interest of Justice, on Victims' Participation, on Preliminary Examinations, on Case Selection and Prioritisation, on Cultural Heritage (2021), and on Situation Completion (2021), which are currently undergoing review as part of a renewed policy framework. The OTP also published Reports on Preliminary Examination Activities for 201120122013201420152016201720182019 and 2020.

The OTP publishes its strategic plans and policies in the interests of providing transparency and clarity on its work undertaken in accordance with the Rome Statute.

The OTP has 10 strategic goals under its Strategic Plan 2023-2025:

8. Increase efficiency of work and ensure proper resourcing and staffing of the Office
