Order regarding Request for Additional Information (concerning applications for participation of victims), Confidential and ex-parte

Situation: Democratic Republic of the Congo

On 26 May 2005, Pre-Trial Chamber I received applications for participation of victims in the proceedings concerning the situation in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The applicants have requested on an ex parte basis that Pre-Trial Chamber I order the non- disclosure of their identity as well as of any information in their application which could lead to their identification.

On 27 May 2005, Pre-Trial Chamber I rendered an order under regulation 86 (7) of the Regulations of the Court requesting additional information concerning the request for non-disclosure of their identity from the applicants seeking to participate in the proceedings. The information was to be provided within 10 (ten) days of the notification of said order
