Outreach in Darfur, Sudan

Following up to what has already been achieved in 2007 and in order to increase the awareness and understanding of the ICC mandate and judicial activities amongst affected communities, the Outreach Unit has adopted a single coordinated strategy which, due to the security of potential partners, will remain at least partially confidential.

The Outreach plan of year 2008 will continue to focus on three directions, to target the representatives of the relevant social groups in Darfur & Khartoum, as well as member of Diasporas, and focus on the refugees in camps in eastern Chad. 

To reach the Darfurian local communities in the refugee camps in eastern Chad, tools are being developed such as radio dramas, theatre projects, and visual materials.
